Roadtrip to the RPL Event #4 in Reno, NV

A super brief recap and then the "Best Of" pictures of the trip until we rolled into Reno.

Monday night - Drive to San Francisco and arrive Tuesday at about 3 am

Tuesday - San Fran - what we did (in order):
  • Breakfast at the World Famous Lands End Baths
  • Japanese Tea Garden
  • Academy of Science
  • Ghirardelli Square
  • Chinatown
  • Cable Car Rides
Wednesday - San Fran:
  • Fisherman's Wharf
  • Arcade Museum
  • USS Pampanito Submarine
  • Boudin Sourdough Factory
  • Pier 39 (loved the magic shop)
  • Alcatraz
  • Ripleys Believe it or Not
Thursday - San Fran and Sacramento and Sutter's Mill:
  • Lombard Street
  • Golden Gate Bridge
  • Capitol building where we saw the Governor's Office, the Governor himself give a speech, our Senator Mimi Walters
  • Old Town Sacramento where we panned for gold, had posters printed on a 200 year old printing press, had the best ice cream cone ever
  • Sutter's Fort
Friday - Sutter's Mill and Auburn and Reno:
  • Sutter's Mill Gold Mine
  • Auburn Historic Town
  • ARRIVE IN RENO TO WALK THE FIELDS
Saturday and Sunday - RPL Event #4 and Circus Circus

Monday - Keough Hot Springs and Manzanar (World War II Japanese Internment Camp)
